Donner pour réhabiliter la mémoire des victimes de la traite négrière et de l’esclavage colonial des anciennes colonies françaises

Avec 30 € vous participez au financement pour aider les bénévoles à continuer à décrypter les archives de la période esclavagiste pour retrouver les aïeux esclaves, les libres de couleur, mais aussi, les indiens et les africains arrivés après l’abolition de l’esclavage.

Ce travail de recherche avec l’atelier de généalogie et d’histoires des familles antillaises et le groupe bases de données archives permet aux Antillais de retrouver et de s’affilier à leurs aïeux qui vécurent l’esclavage.

Avec 10 € vous participez à la structuration et à la préparation des modules pour que les Antillais puissent connaitre et approfondir leur histoire. Les cours sont préparés et réalisés en partenariat avec l’université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. L’université populaire enseigne l’histoire de la traite négrière, de l’esclavage colonial, l’histoire et la mémoire des crimes contre l’humanité et la fabrication et identités des sociétés post-esclavagistes

Grâce à votre don vous aidez à la mise en œuvre du concert annuel pour l’hommage aux victimes de l’esclavage colonial qui se déroule le 23 mai sur la place de la République à Paris.

Après 20 ans de combat, en 2017 la République française institue la journée du 23 mai comme journée nationale en hommage aux victimes de l’esclavage ». Depuis plus de 20 ans, le CM98 travaille pour réhabiliter, honorer et défendre la mémoire des victimes de la traite négrière et de l’esclavage colonial. Grâce aux actions réalisées, les bénévoles participent à la construction d’une mémoire de l’esclavage apaisée et débarrassée de tout ressentiment afin de favoriser la Réconciliation entre les descendants des protagonistes de ce crime contre l’humanité.
